Hello!

Welcome to Anticlimatic.

Anticlimatic is your destination to understand climate change and everything that lies at crossroads with it, albeit, in simple words. I breakdown complex science into regular-life analogies, humour and quirk to bring the idea closer to home.

Expect Anticlimatic to be the hotspot for demystifying climate concepts, narratives, claims & trends; dropping climate truth bombs; and exploring the intersection of climate with human behavior, art, web3, startups… and everything else!

However, be warned of all the accompanying memes, sprinkles of philosophy, (bad) jokes, some nerve-wracking questions, pleasant surprises and a soul bursting with hope!

What Anticlimatic is NOT going to be

  • chemistry equations

  • jargons

  • nonsense

To know why I named this blog Anticlimatic, read my first post here.

I have expectations…

I expect three things from you:

  1. Constructive and actionable feedback (good, bad, ugly) on the content - let me know what’s working, what’s not working;

  2. Suggestions for future posts - what you’d like to read, where you’d like me to dig deeper holes; and

  3. If you like what you’re reading here, subscribe to Anticlimatic and never miss reading any of the upcoming posts. If you believe this could be of use / interest to people you know, pay it forward and get them to subscribe too.

But who is the ‘I’ referred to above?

I’m Sayesha.

yep, that’s me

A surreal expedition to Antarctica (read about it here) led me to quit my 0 to 1 journey in consumer-tech, which was once a dream, to build in Climate. In my previous being, I’ve dabbled across M&A consulting, venture capital and e-commerce in India and Dubai.

A sports person at heart, lover of everything that’s NOT mainstream and a forever optimist. Knitting a life with threads of unconventional choices.

See you in the posts!
